Day 1 Nutrisystem

Well today went well for being unprepared. I didn't have enough veggies needed for all the meals but seemed pretty full without. The food was pretty tasty, portions small, but in compared to my usual much more realistic. We stopped at walmart and I got some "fresh" vegetables. Would love to make a trader joes run for some variety. I will be grilling on the foreman mushrooms, peppers and zucchini and steaming brocolli. I also bought some mini cukes and apple slices. Today I had the choc chip scone for breakfast, I think I will warm it next time, I also had a yogurt and banana. Lunch was chicken pasta with cacciattori sauce, slice of cheese, broccoli slaw with spray dressing and a V8. Dinner was potato wedges with sliced beef and a pear cup. Dessert was almond biscotti. Snack was bagel thin with pb and string cheese. And ALL that was only 1254 cal. I felt I was starving all day like I usually do when I think I'm not eating enough but honestly was not really hungry. The good news is my blood sugars were all below 200 infact my high was my am 174. So that is an immediate improvement! Pee'd all day like a preggo woman, I drank my 64 oz. All in all a good day, now tomorrow should be even better with more veggie options.
