Snow!

well, this mornin I had a small heart attack, the pass said chains required. I pulled over at the chain up point and waited for more trucks going EB and when I asked them about chaining they said no need, bare roads. So I proceeded, risking a fine but found the roads clear all the way over Santiam Pass on Hiway 20 in Oregon. Why the chain law was required I don't know but I am happy to say I didn't have to chain today.

Well, this beautiful blue Volvo 780 is ours, well will be ours in only 173 payments plus a large balloon payment. By then we will want a different one, lol. I am glad we made the move however a bit nervous. This is a huge commitment. I have seen alot of people fail in this economy, I don't want to be one of them. And now that Dave is sick and not running with me at the moment, it makes it harder, and scarier. I know we will get thru this hard time, and the good times are just around the corner. And this is gonna be a good step for our future. Whether we stay here or move on when we are paid off, it is our choice, and we have invested in our future, not just Uncle Jerry's.

Running solo

Well, Dave has been in the hospital for over a week now. I have been running solo all this time. I do miss him terribly. The first week wasn't so bad, I had my Jaja with me, but now I am by myself. It get really boring. I have Lucy, but she don't talk to me much. I may be solo for six more weeks. That sucks. But I want Dave to get better and heal.

I am in Boise, Id, waiting on a trip, extremely bored at the TA. I have been doing a little organizing. It was nice to have time to do that and clean a bit. I really should take a nap now because if I get a trip I will be rolling all night. But I am not really in the mood to sleep. I am really thinking if I had to run solo all the time I would definitely have to find more to occupy my time. I at least have a few books and movies I stole from Jaja. I am just not much in the mood for that right now. So now I just sit and wait. I have been able to catch up online a bit so now I guess I will cook some dinner, maybe watch a movie. So this is how the solo drivers live... gah!
